ALL ABOUT ... - Indoor Spaces - Sensory Room
We were one of the first playgrounds to build a sensory room. Since then they have become an essential ingredient of most schools and care homes. The rooms are used for relaxation and sensory stimulation. Equipped with a myriad of different coloured lights, bubble tubes, aroma fans and tactile toys, the room is the perfect place to chill out and get your senses going. With the addition of the special switches the user can have control over their environment - at the touch of a switch they can change it from a 'cold' blue room to a 'warm' vibrant red, or turn the mirror ball and bubble tubes on and off. The possibilities are endless. The room can also be used in a more targeted way, working with people who have a visual impairment, encouraging them to use they eyes as they track the effects around the room.
